Q. Where do I find the Continuing Education
Requirements form?
A.
The CEU form is available online at the ACR web
site at
http://www.acrnet.org/referrals/ap-family.htm.
The Member Concierge Center can also email or
fax the form to you.
Q. Can I please get an extension?
A.
Generally, the Family Section anticipates that
members should prepare to achieve the required
hours within the time frame given. However, if
your circumstances prevented you from meeting
the requirement by March 31, please submit your
request in writing to
membership@acrnet.org and copy Susan
Edwards, Family Section Chair at
SVEmediates@comcast.net for consideration of
an extension.
Q. What is the time frame of the CEU requirements for 2008?
A.
For 2008, Advanced Family Mediators will report
their continuing education credentials for
activity from April 1, 2006 through March 31,
2008.

their continuing education credentials for
activity from April 1, 2008 through March 31,
2010.

Q. Can I fax in my application?
A. Yes. Please fax it to the attention of AP
Program Manager at 202.464.9720.

Can I send it as an attachment via email?
A.
Yes, if you are able to scan your original form
with your signature, an attachment will be
accepted. However, please be aware that due to
our electronic security filters your application
may be blocked or deleted.
Q. Is my membership current?
A. A member can access his/her membership
profile at the ACR Online Member Center at
https://bridge.ACRnet.org. Login with your
member ID and Password. Or email
membership@ACRnet.org.
Q. Can I receive a confirmation of receipt of my
CEU form?
A. Due to high volume, confirmations will not be
sent, but we are able to confirm receipt of your
CEUs via your telephone or email request.
Q. Will Family Section teleconferences be
accepted for continuing education credit?
A. Yes. While the teleconferences are not set up
to track attendee’s participation, please
provide as much detail on the teleconference as
possible as evidence that you attended.
Q. Do Collaborative Law trainings/workshops fit
under the minimum ten
hours, the remaining hours, or neither?
A. It depends. If it is process oriented it fits
under "conflict resolution skills" (the first 10
hours), if it is substantive it fits under
"Family" (the remaining 10 hours).
Q. Does probate law--trustee obligations, etc.
count under the “related to
family mediation” section?
A. It fits under "Family" (the remaining 10
hours)
