Voting for the President-Elect and Directors-At-Large will take place online September 9 – October 9. Members will receive ballot information via email at the start of the voting period. Commercial Section News Innovation in Commercial Mediation, the Advanced Commercial Mediation Institute II (ACMI II), will be held in Phoenix, Arizona on October 24th and 25th, 2007. ACMI II, sponsored by the Commercial Section in collaboration with the American Arbitration Association and the Harvard Negotiation Insight Initiative, is an educational forum designed to further develop advanced skills of professionals experienced in mediating commercial and business disputes. The program features an interactive environment facilitated by leading commercial mediators. The AAA has announced that any AAA Panel Member will receive full educational credit for attending ACMI II. For those interested in ethics credits, there will be a two-hour session on Current Issues in Mediator Ethics. All Commercial Section members and their guests are invited to the joint Commercial Section/ACMI Reception at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, October 24th. ¶¶¶SAVE THE DATE¶¶¶ CONFLICT RESOLUTION DAY 2007 is October 18 Conflict Resolution Day is held annually on the third Thursday of October. This year, Conflict Resolution Day will occur on October 18, 2007. Did you know that Conflict Resolution Day 2006 was celebrated in at least four countries and sixteen states? It's never too early to start planning an event, arranging for a proclamation or brainstorming new ways to celebrate the benefits of conflict resolution.
