The Florida Dispute Resolution Center
(DRC), a joint program of the Supreme
Court of Florida and Florida State University
College of Law, is pleased to welcome ACR to Florida
and proud to be a co-sponsor of the 2003 ACR Annual
Conference.
Since 1986, the DRC has supported the growth
and development of court-connected Alternative
Dispute Resolution activities for the state court
system in Florida. With assistance from the DRC,
Florida has implemented a wide range of ADR programs
and developed an extensive ethics program for
mediators through standards of conduct, an extensive
grievance procedure and the provision of advisory
ethics opinions.
When the DRC learned that ACR would be meeting
this year in Florida, it decided to cancel its
own annual conference and hold a joint conference
with ACR. The DRC annual conference will resume
