Michael John Aloi, Esq., has been installed as
President-Elect of the Association for Conflict
Resolution (ACR). Aloi is a lawyer, mediator, and
founding partner of the law firm of Manchin & Aloi.
Aloi is a Past President of the
West Virginia State Bar. He serves as an Arbitrator
for the American Arbitration Association, has been
selected for inclusion in “The Best Lawyers in
America,” and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer
in the field of ADR. He is the only lawyer in West
Virginia to be a Fellow of the American College of
Civil Trial Mediators. Aloi also is an Adjunct
Professor for the WVU College of Law and the West
Virginia Wesleyan College MBA program.
Aloi served on ACR’s 2007-2008
Board of Directors and is a past co-chair of the
Association’s Spirituality Section. He also served
as a conference tri-chair for the 2007 ACR
Conference held in Phoenix, Arizona.
Aloi received his undergraduate
degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College and is a
graduate of the WVU College of Law where he was the
only member of his class to receive both the Order
of the Coif and Order of the Barristers.
