Austin, TX – William
Warters has been awarded the The
William Kreidler Award for Distinguished Service to
the field of Conflict Resolution. The award was
presented by ACR’s Education Section at the
Association’s 8th Annual Conference.
Warters was selected for having created a
national clearinghouse of resources for conflict
resolution educators.
Warters is a faculty
member at Wayne State University in Detroit Michigan
where he teaches in the Master of Arts in Dispute
Resolution Program. He is also Director of the
Conflict Management in Higher Education Resource
Center and Webmaster for the new Conflict Resolution
Education Connection clearinghouse. He is a former
co-chair of the ACR Education Section and a past
President of the ACR Michigan SE Chapter.
