Senator George Mitchell Will Deliver Keynote and
Receive Peacemaker Award

The Association for Conflict Resolution
(ACR) 2003
Annual Conference will be held October 15-18,
at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, 1000 West
Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL. ACR is
a nonprofit organization representing more than
6000 mediators, arbitrators, educators and other
conflict resolution professionals from across
the U.S. and around the world.

Senator
George Mitchell was nominated for
the 1998 Nobel Peace Prize for leading the Clinton
Administration's successful negotiations to achieve
a peaceful settlement in Northern Ireland. He
will discuss his personal experience with mediating
intractable world conflicts and apply lessons
learned to the current conflicts in Iraq and the
Middle East. ACR will present Senator Mitchell
with the ACR Peacemaker Award.
