Support for the effort to create the United States Consensus Council

ACR has endorsed the efforts of the National Consensus Initiative to establish a United States Consensus Council (USCC), an independent, nonprofit entity that would serve the United States in resolving contentious national issues.

ACR has worked with the National Consensus Initiative to educate ACR's members about the USCC, providing opportunities for NCI to present at ACR's Annual Conferences, contribute to ACR's e-mail newsletter, ACR Update and its quarterly magazine, ACResolution. ACR's CEO, David A. Hart, serves on the USCC's Policy Consensus Professionals Advisory Committee.

To learn more about this initiative, visit the USCC Web site or contact ACR.

About ACR's Legislative and Public Policy Leadership

ACR's Legislative and Public Policy efforts are focused on promoting the field of conflict resolution to the general public; informing members about, and shaping, important public policy developments in the field; and creating the structures for ACR to support the growth of the field.
