The James B. Boskey Memorial Youth Scholarship

The James B. Boskey Memorial Youth Scholarship is designed to recognize youth leaders in the dispute resolution field and provide partial assistance for them to attend annual ACR conferences. James B. Boskey was a well-known and respected teacher, mentor, author, editor and scholar in the conflict resolution community. ACR, with support from individual and organizational donors, has created this scholarship to honor his contributions to dispute resolution and his support of youth. In 2003 and 2004, scholarship funds assist those in ACR’s Youth Mentor Program, Tajae Gaynor, Tracy Pastan, and Antonio Sanford, to attend the Annual Conference.

In 2005, funds were used to support K-12 youth attending the education-focused “fast-track day” at ACR’s Annual Conference, held in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
